For anyone who might be interested and can be bothered driving to Canberra for a day, ADFA is holding a fencing tournament on Saturday the 20th of August.
There is an open foil comp and a team inter-club Italian relay. $5 entry per indivdual, $10 per team.
If anyone is interested, come see me at training, or send an email to the me or to the club email and i can get u the details.

It may be possible that I could make this. It all really depends on how much rum is involved and when we would leave for the drive up. Oh, and shotgun front. And Steve... when your mind starts replacing words with "fire", it's not a good sign.

You can't shotgun until you can actually see the car

You must shotgun in person, but it is possible to shotgun on the morning

And only in the presence of all or most of the other occupants of the vehicle. And if, on the boarding of the vehicle, the one who called shotgun is too slow, then the bastard rule may apply to the first one to reach the front seat.

Picking the "shotgun" up and placing them to the rear of the vehicle works as well

Any more discussion of the rules relating to shotgun, and I'll be forced to BUY a shotgun... in addition to the Uzi under my pillow ;D

You are from the country Steve are you not? If so I think it's beginning to show.. Anyway, due to the discussion I've managed to prompt on "Shotgun" rules... I decided to consult all knowing Wiki... ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calling_shotgun) which led me to this... www.shotgunrules.com/index.shtml(Note the long haul exception down the bottom, words of wisdom indeed...) But moving on, are we going? "What is the deal..." Do we need to start looking for accommodation or something? Are we going to have a fix-it night? When would we be leaving? Is there anything we want to do along the way? What's for drinks? Who knows good hangover cures? When are we coming back? Do I look fat in ths? What's the meaning of life and what not...

Not sure on the details or even 100% on who wants to go, but we'd probably have to leave Friday arvo as early as possible, but even then we probably wouldn't get there till midnight at the earliest. We'd probably then stay Sat night as well and come back Sun morning. Not sure on the logistics of it all, but we'll work it out i spose.
